This week the 12 Questions crew grills our new Thirsty Thursday group run leader Brendan Eng, which is apt, since he loves to cook. By day Brendan is a data scientist working on technology that we might have access to in 3–5 years. On Thursday nights you can find him leading our most popular group run, followed by $3 pints at the Run Pub.
Devan Becker is working full-time at PRC right now, mostly in Beaverton, and pulling double-duty as an assistant cross-country and track coach at Westview High School. Devan moved to Portland this past summer, and outside of PRC he is training hard and pursuing continuing education as a coach. He is not related to Boris.
This week the 12-Questions Dept. at PRC lost count of the number of questions they were asking and served up a baker's dozen to springtime hire Christy Westover. Christy works in campus security and coaches track and cross-country at Tigard High School. She calls coaching the best job ever. So much for working at PRC, we guess. 😒
Former Tualatin XC and track standout Kaitlyn Gearin pops by the 12 Questions studio this week and tells us she took up running because she needed a ride home. Kaitlyn is working at PRC this summer and returning to SMU in the fall, where she is studying physiology and health management with an eye toward nursing school.
Our 12-Questions crew has concluded another staff interrogation, and the subject this time is Johanna Briscoe. Johanna is a graduate of West Linn High School. She is studying exercise...
Brad Pankey comes to PRC with loads of previous experience in the running industry. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling with the goal of going into private practice. He has a hot take on bicycles.
