Portland Running Company welcomes race director Jared Rohatinsky to our store for a question-and-answer session about the new Portland Marathon.
This informal meeting and presentation will take place at our Portland store (800 SE Grand Ave.) from 6–7 PM on Wednesday, February 20.
All are welcome. No admission. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
Jared's company Brooksee LLC was chosen by the city of Portland to put on the marathon in 2019 and thereafter. Jared will give a very brief talk about his vision for the race and then accept questions and suggestions from the audience.
This is a great opportunity to guide the planning of your hometown marathon. Jared is eager to hear your ideas.
Also on-hand will be PRC and Run with Paula owner Paula Harkin, who is contracted to help Jared with the 2019 event.
