A slightly wider midfoot and forefoot compared to the previous iteration improve the feeling of stability on straightaways and especially around turns. Nike removed two spikes seen on the original in favor of a four-spike design. And they elevated the big-toe side platform and updated the heel structure for added stability.

The new full-length plate material is lighter and more responsive than the previous version while adding durability. The curved design gives you a propulsive feel.
